On
this site you will find a very unique style of antler carving. I use
mainly moose antler to produce my one of a kind pieces. Moose is the animal with
which Newfoundland (my home) enjoys the largest population in the
world. Their antler is a renewable resource, since they are shed each year
in early winter.
You will find
antler carvings with wildlife scenes of and rustic
lifestyles.
You can also view work inspired by my Aboriginal culture. These are more of a spiritual expression and related to the universe
and our place in it. You will see this expression take form in a very
unique way using images of animals, sprite guides, and people
intertwined in the antler.
Every
item on this site is hand crafted, unique, and one of a kind. Original
ideas are used to transform the moose antler into unique works of art
that have the highest standards of quality and can only be found on
this site.
I also create custom pieces
and encourage you to contact me to discuss your special ideas. Together
we can design a piece that is perfect for you. I once carved a client
two poodles sitting on their favorite chair. It just goes to show that anything can be done.
